All,
We got a surprise call from Drew today. He told us in an email on Tuesday that his preparation day (pday) was on Friday but we didn’t hear from him yesterday. Therefore, we weren’t expecting anything today. We really were surprised when the facebook messenger contact pulled up as "George John".
- He has been having a bunch of food. Not a surprise. See the picture of one of his “firsts”. He said some days it tastes better than others.
- His district is all Elders and they will all be serving in the Chihuahua mission.
- His pink dorm is #41 and he said there are about 24 missionaries in the building (4 per room with 6 dorms in the building)
- He said he has been getting a lot of sleep (since they have to be in bed at 10:30pm). However, we laughed when he said his was ready for some earplugs since his roommates liked to talk about shrek and rock jazz.
- He mentioned they have a small weight room so he was glad he can use that when he exercises each day before classes.
- He is enjoying learning Spanish is enjoying the cool weather. He mentioned there is a hill close by that looks nice at night with all the houses on it.
Hey Mom today is our mini PDay, so I get to talk today! But the first few days of the MTC was rough. Yea I guess you can just leave the shoes in the box, but I also really want to see them so, how about just open it and show me haha. I have been having a bunch of food, my companion cant even believe it. Our district is 8C, and I was thinking I would like some highlighters so I can mark up my scriptures and then something to cover up my ears so I can sleep at night instead of listening to my roommates talk about shrek and rock jazz .
